2024: Pro-Life “To Do” List

When was the last time you came up with a to-do list? It may be house chores, shopping, or

other errands.

2024 can be a year where the culture of life can be built in your community. All it takes is

putting your best foot forward. Here are eleven things to do in 2024 to end abortion:

1. Attend the March for Life or Walk for Life

The annual March for Life in DC is still happening. Yet, it is taking place around the Roe

anniversary. Thankfully we will have it again in a post-Roe era on January 19 th . Make plans to

attend now. Too far from DC? San Francisco will have their Walk for Life on January 20 th

marking its 20th anniversary.

2. Take part in a Pro-life Vigil

The most effective way to step into the breach of ending abortion is to be outside of abortion

facilities praying alone or with others. Bring your rosary, have holy water and blessed salt, and

bring love to a place of desperation to the women and men entering the places of death.

3. Be a Trained Sidewalk Advocate

The sidewalk needs a loving, caring pro-lifer that will not judge or spill hatred to anyone walking

in the abortion facility. Rather, they will offer love and support to women in their hour of great

need.

4. Put Forth Real Pro-Life Candidates

Let’s face it. We are tired of the same old, same old. We do need to elect real pro0life men and

women who are willing to fight tooth and nail for life from womb to tomb. It all begins with

unseating incumbents and being the boot on the ground for the pro-life candidate that can

change the status quo whether on the state or federal level.

5. Write to a Pastor

It is time for the clergy to speak up. The pulpits should be a space where the pastor, priest,

minister, and even bishops put the fear of God in their churchgoers. It begins when they speak

the truth without any mental reservation. It’s time for the clergy to be more vocal on the issue

of life. Jesus would have done it. Why not the church and its leaders?

6. Make a Holy Hour for Life

The most effective way to pray for an end to the culture of death is to watch with Jesus for one

hour in adoration. Even Mother Teresa foresaw when every faithful Catholic is committed to a

holy hour each week for an end to abortion.

Be sure to pray a rosary and divine mercy chaplet during that hour of adoring Jesus in the

Blessed Sacrament.

7. Have a prayer campaign for abortion workers

Every so often the name of the abortion worker or volunteer would surface. Instead of judging

them as they enter the facility, be sure to offer the next prayer for his or her conversion. Look

at Bernard Nathanson, Abby Johnson, Zachary Taylor, et al; they left the abortion facility thanks

to the prayers of loving pro-lifers. The prayers of those who are out there make a difference.

8. Lobby for Life

The culture of death is not resting. They will stop it nothing to ram abortion down our throats.

Some states have a pro-abortion majority, and the 2024 election is critical to change the tide.

All that we must do is double our efforts. For pro-lifers, we can take a critical step by getting

involved with politics.

9. Canvass for Life

Susan B Anthony and Students for Life will hit the ground running in many battleground states

to ensure pro-life candidates are elected from state to federal levels. A critical part is for many

pro-lifers in their teens and young adulthood to step up to the plate. Can they count on you?

10. Write pro-life stories

The critical part in forming minds of young people is the content they read. Sadly, there is not

much out there for them. We do need pro-lifers to convey the message of life through

storytelling.

11. Make pro-life film

We do need more movies that promote a culture of life. Have we had enough of the saturation

from the entertainment industry? Film festivals need more movies with a pro-life them in it that

will get people to think.

Happy 2024. Make it a big year for life.
